  FDA - TRACK

Important Notice to Exporters and Importers of Products subject to regulation by the U S Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

With the changes that have occurred with U S Customs and Border Protection and the U S Food and Drug Administration requiring a Prior Notice and/or a PAPS to be filed on each shipment entering the United States, the antiquated system of faxing the shipper and consignee and giving the truck driver a “hold in tact letter- your cargo is not released yet by FDA” is a thing of the past. If cargo is distributed prior to obtaining an FDA release, this puts you at extreme risk for penalties three times the value of your shipment.

Truck drivers routinely do not stop and see the FDA officer, or come to the customs brokers office to obtain the warning letter; this outdated system is no longer reliable or sufficient to handle the most important task of notifying shippers and consignees of the status of your cargo and FDA release.

BCB International, Inc. is a U S FDA paperless approved filer, in each port we operate in, which means that the U S FDA acts on the data we transmit to them. We have been given the privilege of obtaining paperless releases by passing a series of rigorous tests by the FDA based on integrity of data transmitted. The status of your shipments with Customs and FDA may change often. Much like you would monitor your bank account on line, to see what checks have cleared your checking account, BCB International, Inc. is proud to offer “FDA TRACK” ™ . By granting you 24 hour, 7 day a week access to your import screens, you may monitor your own FDA status on any given shipment at any time. We will assist you in getting your account set up for this access, at no cost. All you will need to provide is a P C with internet access.

Please contact our office, at 716 884 1554 and ask to speak to your account representative to get set up on FDA TRACK™ and take control of your own FDA releases Today!

Sincerely,

BCB International, Inc.
